Manner Clubhouse Vol.2
( Key Visual Artwork, Art Display )
I was honored to be invited by Jim, the head of Manner Journal, to collaborate on the event’s main visual, and even held a little exhibition booth showcasing my works.
Without any prior discussion, Jim and I had almost exactly the same vision for how the visual should look. With generations of Porsches gathering at the event, we felt that the key visual shouldn’t depict any specific model or generation. Instead, we chose to create an abstract, reconstructed graphic that distills the DNA of Porsche, interpreted through the visual language of my work.
I experimented with several different angles of the Porsche 911, eventually choosing the front view as the strongest expression of its iconic DNA. The round headlights and distinctive fenders—elements that could only belong to a Porsche—are emphasized to their fullest extent. Details unique to each generation of the 911 were stripped away, leaving behind nothing but the pure essence of the 911.
The architecture of RBC Coffee, where the event was held, served not only as a space for people to gather and take a break, but also as a central point where art, music, and Porsche culture came together. The background graphic draws from the abstract visual elements of the architecture, blending them with the car to create a unified composition.
Vibrant tropical colors were chosen not only to make the overall experience feel energetic and welcoming, but also to reflect the land we live on and the event’s “Summer Spec” theme. The visual was created to represent more than just a gathering for those who attended that day—it was also a reflection of who we are as part of the global Porsche community.
