Porsche x Art 2025
( Art Display )
In 2025, I was invited to take part in Porsche x Art at DRVN by Porsche in Dubai, a creative platform bringing together Porsche, art, design, and the community around the brand. Held at DRVN, a space built around the intersection of automotive culture and lifestyle, the event invited artists to interpret Porsche through their own visual language. Rather than simply presenting cars as objects, Porsche x Art explores the ways the brand and its design heritage can extend into different forms of creative expression.
Reimagining Cars Through Graphics
For the exhibition, four of my earlier artworks were selected to be showcased.
These works represent some of my earliest explorations into the relationship between cars and graphics. I was interested in moving away from the traditional idea of depicting a car as an object on a canvas, and instead treating the car itself as a graphic element within a larger visual space.
Across the four works, I explored high-contrast compositions, bold colors, clean geometric shapes, and expressive lines to reduce the complexity of the automobile into a more graphic visual language. The goal was not to reproduce the cars as realistically as possible, but to capture their character through proportion, silhouette, color, and rhythm.
Looking back, these works became an important foundation for how I approach automotive art today: finding the balance between the recognizable identity of a car and the freedom of graphic abstraction.
Being selected for Porsche x Art was therefore meaningful not only as an opportunity to showcase the work, but also as a chance to see these early explorations placed within a community that shares the same fascination with automotive design, culture, and creativity.
